Kitchen Garden Design in Seattle

I design and install kitchen gardens for Seattle homes, then help you keep them producing. You get raised beds that fit your space, a planting plan for our Zone 8b-9a climate, and a clear list of what to do each month.

How It Works

1

Consultation

I walk your yard with you, check sun, water, and access, and ask what you like to eat. You get a written plan.

2

Design

Bed layout, materials, soil, irrigation, and a planting plan by season, sized to your space and budget.

3

Installation

I build the beds, fill them, set up drip irrigation, and plant the first round with you or for you.

4

Seasonal Care

Coaching sessions or ongoing management, so the beds are replanted as crops finish and stay productive.

What Clients Say

"I have very little gardening experience, and my front yard was essentially a jungle. Jackie was a great listener and designed, then helped me seed, my two raised beds. After understanding my preferences, she provided in-depth advice on planting vegetables (and flowers for the pollinators) tailored to the PNW climate and seasons. The greatest help so far was assisting me in setting up my irrigation system, which is working well. Jackie was also available to answer all my subsequent questions,

I'm excited to see the vegetables grow!"

Carol

"We had two 2’ x 7' empty containers in our driveway and we were overwhelmed with where to begin. Jackie helped us build the soil, and design drip irrigation system. She created a planting layout based on what we cook with, and guided us with expert tips along the way. We are already picking fresh greens - so worth it!"

Alev

"Thank you so much! Baby carrots and baby lettuce is absolutely wonderful!

My new kitchen garden is already creating new life and new food!"
